Muttodi forest range lies near Mallanduru of Chikkamagaluru district. It is a part of the Bhadra wildlife sanctuary and in 1998, it has declared as 25th tiger reserve. Muthodi forest has rare animals like elephants, gaur, tigers, panthers, sambar, spotted deer, and other species. Magnificent bird species like a black-winged kite, king vulture, great horned owl, and others are found here. Travelers can do safari here.
